Rev. Patrick Kennedy

On April fools, 2006 Patrick was consecrated into the priesthood in Chicago, Illinois.  Born in Sacramento, California, and baptized in the Christian Community there, Patrick eventually graduated from the Kimberton Waldorf School in Pennsylvania.  Prior to attending the seminary in Stuttgart, Germany, Patrick studied and worked in the field of Early Childhood Education and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz in Cultural Anthropology.  His first sending as a priest was to the congregation in Devon, Pennsylvania.  From November 2007 to November 2015 he served as the resident priest in the Washington D.C. area congregation.  He now lives in Monsey, New York with his wife and two daughters.


Rev. Oliver Steinrueck

Oliver was born in Toronto in 1961, grew up in a Camphill Village in Copake, N.Y., graduated from Green Meadow Waldorf School and received a Master’s Degree in history. In 1989 Oliver entered the seminary in Stuttgart and went on to work in congregations in Freiburg, Germany, Chicago, San Francisco and currently in Spring Valley. Since 2000, Oliver has served as Lenker for the Christian Community in North America.


Rev. Bastiaan Baan

Bastiaan studied at the Priest Seminary of The Christian Community in Stuttgart, Germany. Following his ordination in 1981 he served as a priest in two congregations in the Netherlands. He has given lectures in several European countries, and has written a number of books about religion and spirituality that have been translated into German, Polish and Swedish. His book The Lord of the Elements, in English translation, was published in 2012 and his book ‘Old and New Mysteries – From Trials to Initiation’ was published in 2014.
